His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Arab Cup 2021 opening ceremony in Doha, Qatar, yesterday, on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him.
His Highness was greeted at Doha International Airport by Qatar’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali, and His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ ambassador to the State of Qatar.
His Majesty Prince Saud bin Nayef met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them – as well as their best wishes for the sisterly State of Qatar’s continued progress and prosperity.
His Highness departed Doha, where he was greeted by Mohammed Al-Mannai, Qatar’s Minister of Communications and Technology.
His Majesty At Al Bayt Stadium in Doha’s capital, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani officially opened the event in the presence of some heads of state.
