Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season attracts 4.5 million visitors
The 2021 Riyadh season surpassed 4.5 million visitors in less than a month, setting a new record for Arab or international countries.
Moreover, the season created more than 122,000 employments, with 37,000 direct jobs and 85,000 indirect jobs.
According to Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment, the number of attendance was split between 3.6 million visitors from Riyadh and 620,000 tourists from other parts of the Kingdom.
The number of visitors from Gulf nations increased to more than 163,000 during the season, while the number of visitors from other countries increased to more than 145,000.
The Riyadh season 2021 was notable for its high numbers in a variety of fields, exceeding all optimists’ expectations.
The Riyadh Season 2021, which is regarded as the Kingdom’s most renowned entertainment destination, began on October 20th of last year and contains 14 entertainment venues spread throughout Riyadh.
