Saudi-US military talks on how to ensure the security of the region

The Chief of the Saudi General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, discussed with the Commander of the US Central Naval Forces, Lieutenant-General Charles Cooper, military cooperation between the two countries.

The official Saudi “SPA” agency reported, last week, that Al-Ruwaili received Cooper at the headquarters of the General Staff, in the presence of the Commander of the Saudi Naval Forces, Lieutenant-General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili.

During the meeting, according to the agency, “some issues of common interest and cooperation between the Saudi and American naval forces were discussed to ensure the security and stability of the region.”
