His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, received the shield of the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture ‘ISESCO’ on the occasion of choosing His Highness as the personality of the International Conference for the Arabic Language, which was organized by ISESCO.
The shield is handed over to the Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, Director General of the Organization Dr. Salem Al-Malik for the great efforts made by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal in the service of the Arabic language and the dissemination of Arab-Islamic culture its right to comprehensive scientific documentation.
Prince Khalid Al-Faisal’s efforts in serving the Arabic language constituted a prominent milestone on the Arab level in terms of his interest in the Arabic language. It was reflected in the allocation of the fourth session of the Makkah Cultural Forum to care for the Arabic language.
It was reflected also in His Highness’s presidency of the Arab Thought Foundation and his keenness to consecrate the Arabic language in the Foundation’s agenda and its products.
The conference, which was held last December, witnessed a panel discussion entitled “The Efforts of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal in Serving the Arabic Language and Spreading Its Culture.”
The participants discussed the efforts of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and the great aspects of his work that contributed to promoting the spread and service of the Arabic language, through several sites and multiple occasions.
