Postponing The 2020 AFC Champions League

The International and Asian Football Associations announced the postponement of the upcoming matches in the Asian World Cup 2022 qualifiers in Qatar and the 2023 Asian Cup in China, which were scheduled for October and November 2020, to be held in 2021.

The two federations explained that the decision came in light of the current situation of the “Corona” delinquency, emerging in several countries, in order to protect the health and safety of all participants.

The federations confirmed that they would continue to work together to monitor the situation in the region and set new dates for matches.
