Participants of King Abdulaziz Competiton Commend the Kingdom’s Great Care for Noble Qur’an

The Participants of the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation of the Holy Quran have commended Saudi Arabia’s unwavering commitment and great care for the Noble Qur’an, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

They expressed their delight and enthusiasm as they have qualified for the final rounds, which take place in the Grand Mosque and next to the Holy Kaaba.

The contestants emphasized their complete readiness to compete with an elite group of reciters from the Islamic world.

The Nigerian participant, Ibrahim Muhammad Nasser, expressed his great happiness to participate in the competition, mentioning that he had intensified his preparations for the final rounds due to the high levels of efficiency of the reciters participating in this session.

Nasser also expressed his sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance for their warm welcome and generous hospitality, and for providing them with smooth and comfortable journey since their arrival in the Kingdom.

South Africa

Mohammed Rais Amanji, South Africa, expressed his delight to participate in this precious competition and his excitement to visit Madinah.

Bangladesh

Moaz Mahmoud, Bangladesh, said that he was nominated to participate in this international competition after winning first place in a national competition. Mahmoud expressed his pride and honor through his nomination to represent his country, as it is one of the strongest international Quranic competitions in the world.
