The Esports Foundation (EF) has designated the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris as the official host venue for the 2026 Esports World Cup, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Set to run from July 6 to August 23, the Esports World Cup stands out as the largest global event in competitive gaming.
The Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center will serve as an integrated hub for the championship, hosting all 25 tournament competitions as well as live broadcasts, fan engagement zones, and a vast array of entertainment activities surrounding the event.
The selection of the venue was driven by its world-class infrastructure and extensive experience in hosting large-scale international events.
Over the years, the center has emerged as a cornerstone for major competitions and exhibitions, including Paris Games Week since 2010, the 2025 TFT Paris Open, and its pivotal role as the largest competition site during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Interestingly, the 2026 Esports World Cup is anticipated to draw more than 2,000 players from over 100 countries, representing upwards of 200 clubs worldwide, all competing for a record-breaking prize pool of $75 million.
The seven-week tournament will boast a diverse lineup of competitions across multiple gaming genres, including first-person shooters, strategy titles, sports simulations, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games, battle royale formats, fighting games, racing competitions, as well as chess.
The Esports Foundation has announced official ticket packages for the tournament, now available for purchase via the championship’s dedicated website: https://esportsworldcup.com/en/tickets.
