Pakistan’s army chief conferred Saudi Arabia’s order of merit
In the implementation of the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia awarded Commander of the Pakistani Army, Lieutenant-General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the King Abdulaziz Medal of Excellent Class, in recognition of his distinguished efforts in Consolidating and strengthening bonds of friendship and cooperation and developing Saudi-Pakistani relations.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during his meeting with the Pakistani army chief, in Jeddah today, reviewed bilateral relations, especially in the military fields, and opportunities for developing them, in addition to several issues of common interest.
The reception was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Al-Biyari, Director General of the Defense Minister’s Office Dr. Hisham Al-Sheikh, and Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Maliki.
On the Pakistani side, the Pakistani ambassador to the Kingdom, Amir Khurram Rathore, Secretary of the Army Commander Major General Muhammad Irfan, and the Pakistani military attache, Brigadier General Muhammad Asim, were present.
