
Makkah Bus has introduced a new route connecting the Grand Mosque with the Hira Cultural District, enhancing access between key religious and cultural landmarks in the city.
The route offers direct transportation to the Hira Cultural District, enabling visitors to easily visit the Revelation Exhibition, the Museum of the Holy Quran, other educational venues, and the Cave of Hira.
Makkah Bus Route
This initiative is part of the continued expansion of the Makkah Bus network, which now includes 12 routes, 400 buses, and 431 stations spanning 580 kilometers. The network has served more than 188 million passengers through over four million trips.
The new route falls under the transportation system supervised by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and is managed by the General Transport Center, the entity responsible for planning, regulating, and operating the city’s public transport network.
