Magna Project
In June, NEOM introduced the Magna project. It is a luxury destination featuring 12 locations along 120 km of coastline on the Gulf of Aqaba. Magna will include 15 luxury hotels with over 1,600 rooms, suites, and hotel apartments, in addition to 2,500 residential units.
Magna will focus on advanced technology and world-class architecture, as well as ultra-modern services. The project will also prioritize nature conservation, with 90% of its land reserved for wildlife.
The new luxury project will be a driver of economic activity in Saudi Arabia, as it will create 15,000 jobs in tourism and hospitality sectors, and contribute SAR2.6bn ($693mn) to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030. Moreover, Magna is projected to attract 300,000 visitors annually, offering unique investment opportunities with a focus on sustainability.
Magna is one of NEOM’s latest revolutionary projects, including THE LINE, Oxagon, Trojena, and Sindalah.
