The Saudi General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) and Bahrain’s Labor Fund (Tamkeen) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Biban 24 Forum.
The MoU was signed by Monsha’at Governor Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Hussaini and Tamkeen Chief Executive Maha Mofeez.
Biban 24 Forum
The MoU seeks to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector between the two countries. It emphasizes collaboration within the Franchise Program, including efforts to exchange franchise brands for both local and international growth, and to promote talent development and capacity building.
Global Practical Training Program
The MoU also aims to broaden collaboration on the “Global Practical Training Program,” designed to enhance skills and accelerate professional growth through hands-on training with leading international companies. It further facilitates the exchange of information on policies, initiatives, and best practices that empower SMEs and startups, while fostering partnerships and investments among specialized support organizations in both countries.
