MODON Launches New Development Projects

MODON” has launched 10 new development projects in six industrial cities, with a total value exceeding 538 million Saudi Riyals.

The projects are financed by the National Strategy for Industry and the NIDLP program. The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON” announced these initiatives in collaboration with several national companies to provide opportunities for value chain projects and support local content.

Commitment to Investment Environment

MODON’s initiative demonstrates its commitment to improving the industrial investment climate and supporting private sector diversity, aligned with national strategies.

Furthermore, the signed agreements focus on building 80 factories in Al-Ahsa, Taif, and MODON Oasis to facilitate business for entrepreneurs and SMEs, boosting GDP in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Additionally, MODON’s Infrastructure contracts involve three projects for developing 5.7 million square meters of infrastructure in Hail and Medina, promoting sustainable production and catering to specific industry needs.

Enhancement of Basic Services

MODON also signed a contract to implement a medium and low voltage network in Taif Industrial City, and to construct a 132 / 13.8 kV transformation station with a capacity of 134 MVA in Tabuk Industrial City. This will increase operational efficiency and production capacity in a sustainable industrial community.

New Road Construction

MODON inked a contract to construct a road connecting Dammam’s third Industrial City with SPARK, enhancing industrial integration and logistics services.

Also it signed a contract to build a civil defense station in Hail Industrial City, enhancing security and protecting investments and communities.

Ongoing Development, Support

Furthermore, MODON is enhancing infrastructure and supporting industrialists with developed lands and factories in its industrial cities across the Kingdom. It aims for balanced development by leveraging geographical, human, and structural advantages, increasing private sector involvement, and ensuring sustainable economic returns.

Initially, MODON develops and manages industrial lands and complexes. Furthermore, it aligns its investment system with quality of life standards, supporting private sector and SMEs.

Consequently, with 209 million square meters and thousands of factories, MODON is among the largest industrial cities.
