Marvels of Saudi Orchestra to Deliver Dazzling Performance in Riyadh
For the first time in Saudi Arabia, the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra will hold a concert in Riyadh this January, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Saudi Music Commission, Prince Badr bin Farhan, the Commission will host a concert for the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra over three consecutive days, staring from January 16, 2025, at King Fahd Cultural Center.
The Riyadh concert is the sixth stop for the Marvels of Saudi Orchestra in a global tour for the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir. The National Orchestra and Choir has embarked on a successful international journey, where their melodies presented Saudi Arabia’s authentic heritage as well as its rich music legacy at the world’s most prestigious stages.

Their celebrated journey started in Paris at the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet. Then, they delivered stunning performances at the National Theater in Mexico; Metropolitan Opera House in New York; and Central Hall Westminster in London. After that, they concluded their 2024 global tour with a captivating performance at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall in Japan.
The Riyadh concert is part of the Saudi Music Commission’s efforts to promote the Saudi music locally. The Commission is committed to enriching the Saudi music scene, celebrating Saudi Arabia’s local music and honoring its history, as well as preserving the Kingdom’s music heritage.
