AlUla Winter Activities
AlUla Moments welcomes winter with a diversity of events and festivals that offer interactive and engaging activities amid the enchanting desert landscapes of Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO designated site.
During winter, AlUla’s visitors have the opportunity to explore the region’s rich culture and unique heritage through multiple festivals and events. These include Winter at Tantora Festival, running until January 11, 2025; and AlUla Arts Festival, from January 16 to February 22, 2025.
Musical Festivities
As a rising music destination, AlUla presents Concert Series, part of AlUla Moments’ agenda. It is an annual event that brings renowned local and international artists who deliver dazzling music performances that cater to all music tastes.
The season started with Winter at Tantora Festival, which features a series of musical nights that delve into the evolving musical scene in Saudi Arabia.
It began with a debut for the Lebanese vocalist, Abeer Nehme, who delivered an exceptional performance alongside the National Arab Orchestra (NAO) on December 27, 2024.
Throughout January 2025, AlUla will present captivating music concerts at its iconic Maraya Concert Hall. Visitors to AlUla and music fans from around the world are invited to an unforgettable musical experience every Friday.
The Macintosh Show
On January 3, 2025, a group of popular Arab singers, known as Macintosh, offered an unparalleled music experience at AlUla. The Macintosh group revived the hits of legendary Arab artists, adding a modern touch to classical songs.
The Macintosh consists of popular Arab artists, including Saber Al-Rebai, Zena Emad, Aziz Maraka, and Daffy. Accompanied by the talented maestro, Ahmed Al-Oud, and his orchestra, the Macintosh delivered a fusion of traditional and contemporary Arab melodies.
Marwan Khoury & HAUSER
AlUla is bracing for an extraordinary musical experience on Friday, January 10, 2025. The Lebanese singer and composer, Marwan Khoury, will collaborate with the iconic Croatian cellist, HAUSER.
The talented duo will offer a captivating performance that combines traditional and modern compositions in a blend of Lebanese music and an electrifying cello rendition.
Ludovico Einaudi
On Friday, January 17, 2025, the renowned Italian pianist and composer, Ludovico Einaudi, will bring his stunning melodies to AlUla. The brilliant composer is known for his unique blend of classical and contemporary elements, creating evocative and minimalist compositions.
Moreover, Einaudi’s compositions have featured in many films and documentaries, leaving an indelible mark on the world of music. These works included The Intouchables, The Father, This is England, and The Water Diviner.
Matteo Bocelli
In a one-of-a-kind performance, the son of the legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli, Matteo, will dazzle AlUla with his unmatched talent. Matteo Bocelli will perform on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Maraya.
The junior Bocelli is a rising star who managed to establish his name in the music industry with his heartfelt songs and powerful vocal performances. With a fusion of classical and modern pop, Matteo Bocelli will showcase his mesmerizing vocal mastery at AlUla.
