Riyadh is in for a dose of electronic music beats as the Groove on The Grass festival returns in February 2025, bringing an immersive and energetic outdoor experience.
Set to take place at JAX Viewpoint on February 14, the open air music festival will feature an exciting mix of electronic music and a line-up of local and international artists and DJs who will take the stage with their vibrant beats.
The Groove on The Grass is a unique celebration of music, creativity and art. It features live music, art installations, and interactive activities. It also includes fashion and various food options.
The music festival focuses on electronic music genres such as house and techno. Moreover, it highlights music and local dance acts from the Middle East. It has introduced more than 180 artists to the music market and brought several international artists to perform in the region.
The Groove on The Grass started in Dubai ten years ago and expanded to Saudi Arabia and Taiwan. It debuted in the Kingdom in 2022, and has taken place several times in Jeddah and Riyadh.
While this edition’s lineup has not yet been revealed, the previous editions featured top performers from the region and all over the world. These included Bachir Salloum, Caleesi, Dante, Dish Dash, Deian, Jigsaw and Dans, Sid Paulie, Faiken Arman, Charles Shaka, Omar Souleyman, and Unders.
