Follow our coverage of the opening ceremony of the third edition of Saudi Games 2024 that kick off in Boulevard City in Riyadh, with the participation of a host of athletes.
The largest sports event in Saudi Arabia will take place from October 3-17, 2024.
More than 9,000 male and female athletes will compete for medals in 52 different sporting events, including 7 Paralympic sports, 10 demonstration sports, and 15 youth sports.
The big event features a wide range of sporting competitions, such as competitive activities, such as athletics, badminton, basketball, cycling, golf, jujitsu, padel, rugby, sailing and swimming.
The Saudi Games 2024 offers generous prizes exceeding SAR 200mn. Gold medalists will receive SAR 1mn; silver medalists SAR 300,000; and bronze medalists SAR 100,000.
Meanwhile, gold medalists in the youth category will receive SAR 100,000; silver medalists SAR 50,000; and bronze medalists SAR 25,000.
