King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully reached over 1 million beneficiaries in 18 countries in the Hijri year 1445 (2024).
As part of its vigorous humanitarian efforts to enhance food security during the month of Ramadan, the Center launched the Ramadan Food Basket Distribution Program (Etaam), with the objective of addressing food needs and enhancing the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups in several countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the program reached over 1 million people with a total of 195,583 baskets containing essential food items. The Etaam project is one of several initiatives adopted by KSrelief. It comes as part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of countries and communities worldwide.
KSrelief provides aid for distressed communities worldwide, and has gained recognition for its efforts and dedicated support for people in need across different communities.
Since its establishment, KSrelief has implemented 2,829 humanitarian projects, valued at more than $6 billion, in 98 countries. Those projects focused on critical sectors, such as food, education, health, water and sanitation, benefiting millions of people in need.
