Two weeks ago, the center distributed 420 shelter bags to the most needy and displaced families in Sudan, benefiting 2,013 individuals.

Four weeks ago, the center inaugurated 3 health projects in Sudan, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The first project aims to provide an oxygen station for Al-Abyad Children’s Specialized Hospital. The station will generate and distribute oxygen, benefiting 25,000 individuals.

The second project aims to support government hospitals affiliated with the Sudanese Ministry of Health with dialysis machines, benefiting 3,960 individuals.

Under the third project, medical equipment will be provided to children’s hospitals, with the aim of reducing deaths and filling the major shortage of medical equipment in Kassala Hospital and El-Obeid Hospital, benefiting 200,000 individuals directly and indirectly.

These efforts come within the framework of a system of humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assist countries in need and provide them with basic health services.

Sudan Crisis

The crisis is multifaceted, with political, economic, and humanitarian dimensions. All the dimensions have created a complex and challenging situation for the country and its citizens. Economic challenges have also played a significant role in the crisis in Sudan.

In addition, humanitarian issues have also been a major concern in the African country. Millions of people in Sudan are in need of humanitarian assistance due to conflict and displacement.

Sudan has faced challenges that will require sustained efforts from both government and the international community to address. However, there is hope for the north African country to survive without continued support and cooperation.
