KSrelief Distributes 151 Food Baskets in Sudan
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed 151 food baskets in Sudan to support displaced families and reduce the food crisis in the country. It provided food for 855 individuals from displaced families.
This comes within the relief and humanitarian projects provided by the kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center presented to many needy and affected countries and peoples.
Food security is defined as the state of having reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. Unfortunately, Sudan struggles with this issue due to a variety of factors.
One of the main reasons for Sudan’s food insecurity is its reliance on agriculture, which is highly vulnerable to climate change and environmental degradation. The country’s economy is largely dependent on agriculture, with over 80% of the population engaged in farming. However, erratic rainfall patterns, droughts, and desertification.
Moreover, the work of KSrelief in Sudan proved KSA’s commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those in need around the world.

However, there is hope for Sudan to survive without continued support and cooperation.
