The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered 25 ambulances to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health in Rzeszów, Poland. This is part of a total of 125 ambulances meant to support the ministry. The ambulances will be transported gradually into Ukraine.
Moreover, this assistance extends the ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support affected and vulnerable communities globally.
An air bridge of 21 planes was sent with medical and relief supplies, devices, and generators. The Kingdom also announced a $400 million humanitarian aid package for Ukraine. This includes $100 million in aid through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and $300 million in fuel derivatives as a grant.
The Center signed agreements with the World Health Organization and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, each receiving $5 million for medical and relief assistance to Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries, especially Poland. In conclusion, the total support for Ukraine is $410 million.
