At Taiwan’s capital Taipei, Saudi students won nine major and special awards at the International Science Fair (TISF 2024).
The Saudi students won 7 major grants by accomplishing second to fourth places in the fields of general designing, natural designing, medication and life, chemistry, as well as soil and natural sciences.
In addition KSA students received two special accomplishment grants within the areas of material science, cosmology, and computer science.
Students & Awards
At TISF 2024, in the engineering category, Yara Abdullah Al-Wadaei from Manarat Riyadh Schools in Riyadh Education Department took third place.
Conversely, she was followed by Kadi Jamal Al-Bouabid from Al-Anjal Schools in Al-Ahsa Education Department and Ghala Turki Al-Muabdi from the Fifth Secondary School in Jazan Education Department.
Also, In the education department of Makkah, Areej Abdullah Al-Qarni from Al-Batool Schools achieved third place in medicine and life.
Noura Majed Al-Quraishi from the University Schools in the Eastern Province took third place in chemistry.
The third place in engineering went to Abdullah Fahd Al-Otaibi of Ibn Al-Nafis Secondary School in the Al-Kharj Education Department.
The fourth place went to Salem Awaid Al-Saadi of Prince Abdulmohsen Bin Abdulaziz Secondary School in the Medina Education Department.
Ahmed Ali Al-Meer from the University Schools in the Eastern Province Education Department won the special award category.
Jouri Sultan Al-Busaili from the Model Education Schools in Riyadh Education Department won a special achievement award in computer science.
Universities, research centers, and institutes present these exceptional honors based on predetermined standards and criteria.
TISF Annual Organisation
TISF is held annually in Taipei under the auspices of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. It is organized by the Taiwan National Science Education Center.
Besides, TISF encourages middle and high school students from participating countries to compete in a variety of scientific projects, research, and ideas.
