CEO of Al Madinah Heritage Company Bandar Al-Qahtani stated that the agreement will start the company’s upcoming plan to establish a comprehensive date factory in Madinah.
“Work on constructing the factory will begin in the next three months after approving the required plans and specifications for this industry, using the latest global technologies. This will particularly develop the industry of Ajwa dates and dates in general, “added Al-Qahtani.
The Public Investment Fund launched Al Madinah Heritage Company, specialized in dates, last September, aiming to increase the value of Ajwa dates and various other dates both locally and internationally.
New competitors in this industry and new date outlets locally and internationally will cause significant growth for Ajwa dates and other Saudi dates.
