KSA Expands Communication Network within Grand Mosque

KSA announced expanding the communications network within the Grand Mosque to cover the basement floor of King Fahd expansion, reported the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

This step is part of preparations for the holy month of Ramadan and efforts by various entities to serve the pilgrims.

This step aims to enhance the efficiency of Zamzam water production. It will monitor the water level inside the well and send the data directly to the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz project for Zamzam water provision. Additionally, the network will contribute to improving the quality of transmitting religious lessons and broadcasting them live on the Manarat Al-Haramain digital platform , allowing its content to reach various parts of the world.

Electric Carts

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has allocated 10 locations for carts services in Grand Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan. Three locations are within the plazas, reported Saudi Press Agency.

In addition, it provided free cart services for the elderly and people with disabilities inside the Mataf.

Solutions for Pilgrims

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, through the Sustainable Solutions for Guests of the Merciful competition, reviewed 450 local and international projects for Sustainable Solutions for Pilgrims.

It aims to provide support for entrepreneurs and those interested in enhancing the pilgrims’ experience. It announced the winners of the top three positions on the fourth day of the Hajj and Umrah conference, reported Saudi Press Agency.
