KSA bans people who are not fully vaccinated to board planes starting from today
A restriction onboarding aircraft will go into effect in the Kingdom today, Sunday, October 10, 2021, for people who have not had two doses of the Corona vaccine.
This complies with the General Authority of Civil Aviation’s guidelines to airlines about the requirement of two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine before boarding domestic flights.
Civil Aviation Authority had confirmed that this procedure would not be applied to the groups excluded from taking the vaccine, according to what appears in the “Tawakkalna” application.
authorities also gave guidelines to airlines on how to allow faculty members and educational staff to fly directly from countries where they have been banned from entering the Kingdom.
Faculty members and others in universities, and colleges, public school teachers, the training body in the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and training institutes, and scholarship students are among those who are affected by the decision, according to the statement.
institutional quarantine applies to these groups, including their companions and family, but anyone who received a single dosage or completed doses of immunizations inside the Kingdom is not subject to the quarantine.
