Flooding Threat

The program explained that weather change threatens to cause floods during the current century. It will be five times more than in the previous century, putting the lives of 70 million people at risk.

Most Affected Regions

It program emphasized that the most affected regions are Latin America, the Caribbean region, the Pacific Ocean, and small island states. Several countries expected to experience a reduction in their land area due to flooding.

Increase in Coastal Floods

The program reported that coastal floods have increased over the past twenty years due to the rise in sea level. currently 14 million people at risk.
