Kingdom’s Weather for Tuesday

Today, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing significant weather disturbances. The National Meteorological Center has issued a severe weather warning, predicting moderate to heavy thunderstorms across the country.

The public are advised to be extremely cautious and adhere to safety guidelines, particularly in rain and flood-prone areas.

Affected Regions

The regions most heavily impacted by these severe weather conditions encompass the Northern Border, Al-Jouf, Hail, Al-Qassim, and selected areas of the Eastern Region. Furthermore, the extended forecasts predict that areas such as Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Mecca, Medina, certain parts of Tabuk, and Riyadh will also be affected.

The southwestern highlands might also experience fog, impacting visibility.

Marine Conditions

Marine conditions in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf are also rough. The surface winds ranging from 15 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The wave heights varying from half a meter to over two meters. This variability makes the sea state light to turbulent, and thunderstorms may impact southern and central regions.

Riyadh Weather Outlook

In Riyadh, the weather will be clear with a low temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. However, as Mecca approaches its rainy season from November to January, there could be temperature drops and increased rainfall.
