Japan’s Ambassador to KSA fasts in respect for Muslim feelings

Since taking up his role as Japan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Fumio Iwai has maintained the humanitarian attitudes that the Saudi people have grown to expect.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Fumio Iwai, the Japanese Ambassador in the Kingdom, was eager to share the fasting month’s feelings with the fasting people; he announced abstinence from food out of respect for those who were fasting.

he said, through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “May God bless you with good morning and blessings. May Allah accept your fasting”.

He stressed that he will follow in the blessed month of Ramadan what he used to follow during his stay in Iraq, explaining that he has started to refrain from eating since dawn yesterday, to share the feelings of this holy month, even partially.

The Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom had posted a video, congratulating everyone on the blessed month of Ramadan.
