Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Custodian of Two Holy Mosques’ Iftar, Date Distribution in Albania

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar and date distribution programs in the Republic of Albania. The launching ceremony took place yesterday, marking the start of this year’s Ramadan initiatives.

Under the date distribution program, around 25,000 beneficiaries in 35 regions across Albania will receive a share of five tons of dates designated for distribution. In parallel, the iftar initiative will provide meals for approximately 10,000 fasting individuals at eight locations throughout the country.

Saudi Ambassador to Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi, described the program as a distinguished seasonal effort that underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to supporting Muslims during Ramadan and easing the burdens of those in need.
