The Ministry of Tourism has announced that tourism establishments and related businesses can recruit temporary workers to manage higher demand during peak seasons, when hospitality, travel, and tourism services typically face increased workloads. These temporary contracts can be processed through the Ajeer platform, operated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Tourism and hospitality businesses may register on the Ajeer platform to advertise seasonal or short-term job opportunities. They can also benefit from services such as the tourism seasons program, designed to help meet workforce needs during high-demand periods.
The announcement comes as the hospitality and tourism sectors in the regions of Makkah and Madinah enter their peak season during Ramadan, in preparation for the upcoming Hajj season.
