International Falcon Breeders Auction to start on August 5 in Riyadh
The Saudi Falcon Club is preparing to launch the first edition of the International Falcon Breeders Auction.
The activities of this auction begin on the fifth of August and will continue until the fifth of next September, at the club’s headquarters in Mulham, north of Riyadh.
Official spokesman for the Saudi Falcons Club, Walid Al-Taweel, stressed that organizing the international auction – the first of its kind in the region – will constitute a milestone in the revival of this ancient and renewable heritage.
It is predicted that the Kingdom will be an international destination for falconry lovers, as the auction will bring together some of the most distinguished falcon breeds in the world locally and internationally, and the most famous of them all.
Providing the best breeds of falcons
The club’s official spokesman stressed that the International Falcon Breeders Auction aims to provide the best breeds of falcons to falconers in the Kingdom and the countries of the region.
It also seeks to open new areas for investment while creating business opportunities, in addition to promoting the hobby of falconry locally in cooperation with government agencies.
Al-Taweel indicated that the preparations for the International Falcon Breeders Auction include providing the appropriate place to host falcons and their owners.
The preparations also included preparing the appropriate site inside the auction to receive the owners of production farms and bidders from inside and outside the Kingdom
It is noteworthy that the auction has allocated a full-service site at the Falcon Club headquarters in Mulham, which includes a special corner for companies providing veterinary products, tools, equipment and supplies for falcon breeding and training that provide their services to all falconers.
