Saudi child competes at Arab Squash Championship

A Saudi child managed to become a professional squash player and participate in the Arab Squash Championship in Cairo.

Abdul Majeed Al-Maliki, said, during a television interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel, that he started playing squash at the age of 10 and was encouraged by his older brother.

Al-Maliki, aged 12, explained that he is the youngest player presented by the Kingdom in the Arab Squash Championship, which is being held in Egypt with the participation of 7 Arab countries.

He indicated that he trains at Al Hilal Saudi Club, 4 days a week, under the supervision of the technical staff of the national squash team.

The Saudi child praised the support provided by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in addition to the Minister of Sports.
