Indians no longer need police clearance for a Saudi visa

Saudi Arabia announced recently an exemption for Indian citizens from submitting a criminal record certificate (PCC) for obtaining a travel visa to the country.

 Presentation of the certificate is no longer a requirement for Indian citizens to obtain a Saudi visa

The Saudi embassy in India said in a statement last week that this step comes in light of the strong relations and strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and India.

This decision was taken as part of the two countries efforts to strengthen their relations.

The embassy expressed its appreciation for the contribution of more than two million Indians who live in Saudi Arabia in peace.
