Hamas Israeli Hostage Release Deal Delayed to Friday: Netanyahu Office

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu office has announced a delay in the commencement of the hostage release process between Israeli and Hamas, amid a 4 day truce.

Initially set to begin on Thursday, the release, involving Israeli hostages held by Hamas, is now scheduled to start on Friday. This update comes amidst heightened anticipation and international attention focused on the Hamas-Israeli Hostage Release Deal.

Accordingly, the deal, brokered after intense negotiations involving Qatar, Egypt and the U.S as mediators. The deal represents a significant breakthrough in the 47 day war between Israel and Hamas.

The deal involves the return of 50 Israeli hostages of women and children under the age of 19, in exchange of 150 Women and Palestinian children imprisoned in Israel.
