Guinness World Records Recognizes Seha Virtual Hospital as the Largest in the World
Guinness World Records has recognized the Seha Virtual Hospital as the largest virtual healthcare hospital in the world, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, has received the certificate during the Global Health Exhibition. This recognition crystalizes Seha’s intensified efforts to boost the virtual healthcare and provide innovative services that meet the growing needs of the communities.
Through advanced telemedicine technologies, the virtual hospital stands as a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to applying the digital transformation in the health sector.
“The registration of Seha Virtual Hospital in Guinness World Records is a testament to the dedication and innovation in healthcare sector. It marks a significant advancement in virtual healthcare services in the Kingdom,” Al-Rumaih stated.
Moreover, he said that Saudi Arabia’s leadership has shown unwavering support to ensure that all regions including remote areas have access to various specialized medical services.
Currently, the hospital is intensifying its efforts to expand and increase its services and make them available across the Kingdom. Therefore, Seha Virtual Hospital has set a bold vision to achieve more significant milestones and build strategic partnerships with several health institutions.
The hospital now offers its remote healthcare services to over 200 hospitals, in rare and complex medical cases. Thus, patients can get comprehensive medical care in their local areas, without the need to travel for hospitals.
