Under the patronage of the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, who is also the Chairman of SDAIA Board of Directors, the upcoming GAIN summit will take place from September 15-17, 2026 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh.

GAIN 2026

GAIN 2026 will bring together government officials, decision-makers, CEOs of leading tech companies, experts, innovators and AI researchers from around the world, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

On this occasion, SDAIA President, Abdullah Alghamdi, said the fourth edition of GAIN underscores the continuous support of the Saudi Crown Prince to SDAIA’s efforts, which has culminated in the Kingdom topping key global AI rankings.

Moreover, he noted that the summit comes at a time when the world is facing exceptional circumstances, driven by a rapid qualitative leap in the use of data and AI technologies, which has become a necessity in our modern-day lives.

Knowledge-Based Economy

Alghamdi added that GAIN 2026 aims to advance Saudi Arabia’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy and contribute to building a national economy driven by data and AI, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

The fourth edition of GAIN builds on the massive success of the previous editions, which saw the announcement of significant deals and initiatives, including the launch of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), a UNESCO-affiliated center headquartered in Riyadh.

Driving Vision 2030

Furthermore, Alghamdi said that GAIN 2026 embodies Saudi Arabia’s vision for a sustainable, knowledge-based economy, offering an exceptional AI experience with a diverse international presence of expertise and capabilities.

It is also a further testament to the Kingdom’s excellence in organizing world-class events and underscores its position as an active partner in shaping the future of AI technologies.

Taking place in Riyadh, the event highlights innovation and digital transformation as two main pillars of Vision 2030 for building a world-class prosperous, sustainable and competitive knowledge-based economy.
