UNESCO Delegation Visits ICAIRE in Riyadh to Assess Global AI Ethics Initiatives

A UNESCO delegation visited the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) in Riyadh yesterday to review the center’s global research and knowledge initiatives focused on AI ethics. The visit highlighted ICAIRE’s growing role as an international hub advancing ethical AI under UNESCO’s guidance.
During the visit, the delegation examined several key projects and programs, including global initiatives promoting the responsible use of AI, research on the safe deployment of AI technologies, and a capacity-building program designed to strengthen local and international expertise.

The delegation was also briefed on ICAIRE’s scientific efforts to enhance knowledge exchange with leading global institutions, underscoring the center’s dedication to advancing international ethical standards in the field of artificial intelligence.
