DGA Governor: Saudi Arabia Ranked 3rd Globally, Model for Digital Government Excellence
Digital Government Authority (DGA) Governor Eng. Ahmed Alsuwaiyan affirmed that Saudi Arabia has become a global leader in leveraging technology to advance human welfare.
Speaking at the opening of the Fourth Digital Government Forum 2025, held under the theme “Our Future is Now,” Alsuwaiyan highlighted the unwavering support of the Saudi leadership. He noted that this commitment—channeled through the executive programs of Saudi Vision 2030—has enabled the Kingdom to secure first place regionally and third place globally in international digital government indicators.
Alsuwaiyan emphasized that although digital tools and technologies continue to evolve, the primary objectives remain consistent: boosting productivity, enhancing efficiency, and improving the experience of beneficiaries. He also commended government entities for their rapid progress, advancing from digital transformation toward the integration of artificial intelligence.
The forum celebrated several key milestones, including the Digital Content Efficiency Index 2025, which achieved a strong score of 76.24%. It also honored the Digital Government Award 2025 winners and recognized participants from the Innovation Challenge (GovJam) 2025 for their innovative contributions to the nation’s digital growth.
The first day of the forum featured specialized sessions and interactive workshops exploring innovation in the public sector, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Finally, the event continues with leadership dialogues and the Digital Saudi Exhibition, where more than 40 public and private organizations are showcasing their latest digital initiatives.
