
The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) officially will be launched today in Riyadh, as part of the Biban Forum 2025, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at). The event runs from November 5 to 8.
Held in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and the Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (Misk), this year’s competition brings together 100 entrepreneurial ventures from 47 countries, all vying for more than $1.5 million in prizes.
Representing Saudi Arabia, six innovative companies have advanced to the finals, joined by three from Egypt, two from the UAE, and one each from Oman and Bahrain.
The finalist projects cover a wide spectrum of sectors—including communications and information technology, health and social services, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, industry, and space—demonstrating the event’s global diversity and its focus on future-driven industries shaping economic growth.
