French FM Blames Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia
The French FM condemned recently the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, stating that the attacks pose a threat to Saudi Arabia’s security and regional stability.
“We condemn the Houthi attacks on Saudi territory, particularly civilian targets, with the highest vehemence. These attacks, which endanger Saudi Arabia’s security and the region’s stability, must be stopped quickly.” The French FM stated.
He added that these attacks are considered an indicator of the seriousness of the threat presented by the marches and rockets to the entire region’s security.
French FM confirmed that Paris will continue to support talks that result in a suspension of hostilities in Yemen and the resumption of UN-sponsored talks aimed at obtaining a comprehensive political accord, while also urging the Houthis to cooperate constructively in this regard.
The petroleum products distribution station in north Jeddah was hit by a missile attack on Friday, March 25, 2022, according to an official source in the Saudi Ministry of Energy.
Saudi Arabia’s emphatic condemnation of these sabotage actions, which have been carried out against key installations and civilian items in various parts of the Kingdom, is a violation of all international laws and conventions, according to the source.
Because of the ongoing sabotage strikes on its oil facilities by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, the source reiterated what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has already stated: it would not bear any responsibility for any shortages of oil supply to global markets.
