Film AlUla, Screen International Unveil Arab Stars of Tomorrow 2025

Screen International, in collaboration with Film AlUla, unveiled the Arab Stars of Tomorrow 2025 at the Red Sea International Film Festival, showcasing the most promising cinematic talent of the MENA region, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The initiative selects five actors, writers, and directors whose work make a real difference in the future of Arab cinema.

Launched nearly a decade ago, the Arab Stars of Tomorrow 2025 further cements the Red Sea International Film Festival’s mission to empower young creatives and unleash new horizons for filmmakers across the region.

Interestingly, the 2025 list features a cohort of Arab creators whose works tackle the depth and richness of contemporary Arab storytelling.

These works have shown artistic boldness, a strong connection to local community issues, advanced character development, exploration of heritage, and careful observation of cultural and social shifts across the region.

To honor these emerging talents, Film AlUla arranged a special photoshoot at Hegra, the UNESCO World Heritage site in AlUla Governorate.

Participants also toured Jeddah’s Historic District and engaged with industry leaders, boosting the festival’s role as a catalyst for the growth of Arab cinema.
