Saudi footballer Fahad Al-Muwallad has returned home following a serious accident in Dubai. The Saudi Ministry of National Guard released footage of his arrival via a medical evacuation flight. The video, posted on their official X account, shows Al-Muwallad being transferred to King Abdulaziz Medical City.

Al-Muwallad sustained severe injuries after falling from a balcony during his stay in Dubai. He is currently in intensive care at Rashid Hospital. Medical teams are closely monitoring him, as he remains on a ventilator due to fractures in his skull and neck.

Fahad Al-Muwallad began his career with Al-Ittihad before moving to Al-Shabab in 2022. He has represented Saudi Arabia 78 times, including two World Cup appearances in 2018. The winger also had a brief loan spell with Levante in Spain, playing two matches. He currently plays alongside Daniel Podence and Yannick Carrasco at Al-Shabab.
