Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Riyadh Region, honored the Moroccan Embassy’s National Day celebration today. It was held at the ambassador’s residence in the Diplomatic Quarter of Riyadh.
Upon arriving at the event, the prince was welcomed by the Moroccan Ambassador, Abdel Salam Baraka, and several embassy officials. Moreover, his Highness exchanged congratulations and well-wishes with the ambassador. He also praised the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Morocco on the national anniversary.
National Day of Morocco
The Moroccan Embassy in Riyadh joins the Africa Day celebrations on May 30th and 31st, 2024. Additionally, they feature artistic performances, traditional crafts, and Moroccan dishes to showcase Morocco’s rich heritage. The events also include an exhibition of handcrafted products reflecting the Kingdom’s history and culture.
The event was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs, Azam bin Abdulkarim Al-Qain, and members of the diplomatic corps. Moreover, Moroccan artistic troupe gave a traditional musical performance, which was well-received and added a festive atmosphere. Attendees appreciated the Moroccan embassy’s efforts in promoting cultural exchange and strengthening relations between the two countries.
Exclusive Interview
The Leaders team attended the ceremony and asked Saudi ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Mustafa al-Mansouri about his opinion of the ceremony:
The ambassador said :”Today marks an important and cherished anniversary for the Moroccan people. We gather with our family, friends, media professionals, and ambassadors. Additionally, it is a precious opportunity to strengthen relationships with friends and collaborate for a better future.”
He also appreciated the efforts of the Saudi King, Morocco has made significant strides today in the fields of infrastructure, culture, and science.
He added, “We are proud today to be among our family and friends who attended this joyful celebration and honored us with their presence.”
