Interview: Automechanika Riyadh 2025 Highlights Innovation, Localization, Market Expansion

The seventh edition of the “Automechanika Riyadh 2025” exhibition kicked off on Monday and will run until April 30, 2025, reflecting the Kingdom’s interest in the vehicle services sector.
Ali Hafni, Director of Automechanika, told “Leaders” in exclusive remarks that this year’s exhibition features more than 450 exhibitors from 32 countries around the world.
Hafni confirmed the success of the exhibition, noting that it is being held across five halls this year, compared to just three halls last year.
He pointed out that around 339 companies participated in the exhibition last year, while this year the number has exceeded 450 companies—a 50% increase, which marks a major success attributed to the achievements of the 2024 edition.
He added, “On the first day, the number of visitors far exceeded our expectations, thanks to strong promotion and marketing of the exhibition’s events.”
Hafni explained that the exhibition succeeded this year in attracting new companies, including many from new sectors. He also announced that the next edition of the exhibition will take place from April 20 to 22, 2026.
The seventh edition of “Automechanika Riyadh 2025” features a 70% increase in space compared to the 2024 edition.

The exhibition occupies five halls at the exhibition center, allowing it to accommodate more than 19,000 visitors over three days. It showcases the latest products and services in spare parts, electronics systems, oils, tires, vehicle care, diagnostics, and maintenance.
The exhibition also includes an intensive knowledge program featuring more than 50 panel discussions and workshops, bringing together a group of experts and industry leaders. The sessions focus on localization issues, innovation, digital transformation strategies, and sustainable supply chains.
