Eradah Complex Celebrates Founding Day
The Erada Complex for Mental Health in Riyadh celebrated the nation’s Foundation Day today with a series of events and activities, engaging both staff and patients in the festivities.
The celebration was attended by key figures including Naser M. Al Khelaiwi, the acting CEO of the Riyadh Health Cluster Third. Besides, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmari, the Executive Director of the Complex, along with several other leaders attended the event.
Activities Run by Eradah Complex on Foundation Day
The event featured a diverse array of activities, including a traditional tent event, a national folk dish celebration, and national poetry recitations. Additionally, a special celebration for female employees in the women’s departments was held, with some beneficiary families participating.
Eradah Complex offered a special celebration for patients in the main hall, where their families joined in. Moreover, the event included:
- a theatrical performance by several beneficiaries of the complex’s services
- a cultural quiz, a visual presentation about Foundation Day
- a performance by a folk group showcasing national heritage from various regions of the Kingdom.

Participants at the Eradah Complex event congratulated the leadership, praying for ongoing national security, safety, growth, and prosperity. Besides, Al-Ahmari reflected on the significance of the day. He spoke about the stories of achievement built on the great sacrifices of ancestors, leading the country to dignity and esteem.
Furthermore, he emphasized the nation’s ambitious spirit, unwilling to settle for anything less than glory and honor. Al-Ahmari stressed KSA’s continuing efforts to strive and contribute to maintaining its esteemed elevation, and pride.
In addition, Khelaiwi highlighted the importance of patient participation in the Foundation Day activities. He affirmed the ongoing support for the efforts of the Erada Complex in Riyadh in serving beneficiaries. He also stressed the importance of continuing these efforts to enhance and improve the quality of care for all beneficiaries.
What is Foundation Day?
It was the day when the nation’s cornerstone was placed, and security and stability were achieved in 1727 under Imam Mohammed bin Saud‘s leadership. This day corresponds with the 22nd of February every year. At that time, the foundation of the KSA was based on Islamic ideals that uphold social justice and harmony.
Notably, Saudis look forward to national holidays throughout the year, and the Founding Day is no exception. They celebrate national holidays with great enthusiasm.
