Empowering Health, Safety: General Directorate of Passports at Global Health Forum 2024
The General Directorate of Passports is participating under the slogan “Invest in Health,” held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Al-Mulhim, north of Riyadh, during the period from October 21 to 23, 2024.
The passports department showcases the tourist visa device (kiosk) for issuing visas upon arrival, as well as providing services for issuing, renewing, and activating Saudi passports, and the service for printing resident IDs, along with awareness-raising visual materials.
Visitors Interact with Plate (ص ح هـ)
Visitors to the exhibition interacted with the vehicle of the Saudi Traffic Authority, which carried the plate (ص ح هـ), coinciding with the launch of the forum’s activities and the objectives of the General Directorate of Traffic in raising awareness about the dangers of traffic accidents. It also enhances public safety by adhering to traffic regulations on the roads which positively reflects on the quality of life.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion offers visitors and guests of the forum services for renewing and printing driving licenses and vehicle registration, issuing, renewing, and activating passports. It also renews and prints national identity cards, and issue replacements for damaged cards for citizens, as well as printing residency IDs for expatriates. These services are available daily from 10 AM to 7 PM.
The General Traffic Department’s participation in the exhibition aims to educate visitors about the dangers of traffic accidents and to promote public safety by adhering to traffic regulations. This step positively impacts the quality of life for citizens, residents, and visitors.
