Saudi Arabia’s meteorological authorities predict hot daytime temperatures during Eid Al-Fitr, starting Sunday. According to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM), maximum temperatures will range between 30°C and 38°C nationwide. However, southwestern highlands and northern areas will see milder highs between 25°C and 29°C.
Nighttime temperatures will dip to 20°C–25°C in most regions. Northern and southwestern mountainous areas may experience colder lows of 11°C–14°C.
Rain and Hailstorms Hit Key Regions
The NCM warns of moderate-to-heavy thunderstorms with hail in Tabuk, Al Jawf, Northern Borders, Madinah, Ha’il, Al Qassim, and parts of Riyadh and the Eastern Province. Asir, Al Baha, Jazan, and Makkah highlands may also face storms.
Moreover, strong daytime winds could stir dust in Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al Jawf, Northern Borders, Ha’il, Al Qassim, Riyadh, and northern Eastern Province.
