Duba Waterfront Draws Crowds during Mid-Year School Holiday

Duba Governorate is experiencing a surge in visitors during the mid-year school holiday, thanks to its pleasant weather and scenic Red Sea coastline. The increased footfall has energized recreational and tourism activities, positioning the waterfront as a favorite spot for family outings and leisure.

Mayor of Duba Municipality, Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Anzi, highlighted the Duba Corniche as one of the area’s main attractions, offering spacious open areas, walking tracks, designated seating, and a wide range of services that enhance the visitor experience. He noted that the governorate is home to several picturesque coastal destinations, including Al-Muqayti‘a Corniche, Duba Bay, the northern waterfront, and Lotus Square and Corniche—one of Duba’s flagship tourism developments.

Spanning 21,000 square meters, Lotus Square includes football, basketball, and padel courts, as well as a dedicated play tower for children. Al-Anzi added that the municipality continues to implement development and improvement projects across the waterfront and public facilities, further strengthening Duba’s appeal as a promising winter destination for residents and visitors alike.
