
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, presided over the Cabinet session held today, December 2, 2025, in Dammam, during which the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2026 was approved.
During the session, the Cabinet reviewed the components of the newly approved budget and issued the following key decisions:
- Total approved state expenditures: SAR 1,312,800,000,000
- Estimated general revenues: SAR 1,147,400,000,000
- Projected deficit: SAR 165,400,000,000
His Royal Highness directed ministers and officials to ensure full commitment—each within their respective mandates—to executing the programs, strategies, and developmental and social projects outlined in the budget. He emphasized that these efforts must remain aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and continue to prioritize the interests and well-being of citizens.
