CONCACAF, PIF Launch Partnership to Promote Soccer in America

CONCACAF and PIF have unveiled a multi-year partnership aimed at elevating football across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. This collaboration reflects their joint commitment to fostering growth in the sport at all levels throughout the region.

The partnership aims to foster the growth of football at all levels, encouraging more people to engage with the sport. It will also enhance CONCACAF tournaments for men, women, and youth across both national teams and clubs. Furthermore, the two organizations will work together to strengthen and promote CONCACAF football development programs. Additionally, they emphasized on ensuring children and youth in all 41 CONCACAF federations have access to the sport.

CONCACAF Champions Cups

This partnership is timely, as the region prepares to host several major football tournaments in the coming years, including the men’s and women’s CONCACAF Champions Cups, the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by three CONCACAF member nations: Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Aligned with PIF’s focus on inclusivity and youth, the partnership will help  CONCACAF expand its official youth championships. This will create more opportunities for emerging talents in the region, including through the CONCACAF U-15, U-17, and U-20 championships for both men and women. It also serve as qualifiers for the FIFA U17 and U20 World Cups.

The CONCACAF partnership expands PIF’s ever-growing portfolio, which already includes collaborations in tennis, golf, football, and electric motorsports. Furthermore, this partnership aligns with PIF’s commitment to investing in people, projects, and initiatives, guided by its four core sponsorship pillars: inclusivity, sustainability, youth, and technology.

Montagliani  added : “This is a pivotal time for PIF to connect with football in CONCACAF Interest in the sport is growing rapidly in our confederation and will reach new heights as major CONCACAF competitions take place over the next two years, and we get closer to the biggest-ever FIFA World Cup taking place in our region in 2026.”
