Civil Defense has urged the public to stay alert and remain in safe areas, warning people not to approach floodwaters, enter valleys, or attempt to swim in them. It emphasized the importance of following instructions issued through official media and social platforms.
The advisory comes as thunderstorms are forecast to continue across most regions of the Kingdom through next Sunday. According to Civil Defense, citing the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), the Makkah Region is expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, which could result in flash floods, hail, and strong winds that may trigger dust and sandstorms.

Similar weather conditions are anticipated in parts of the Riyadh Region. Additionally, regions including Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Madinah, Qassim, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and the Eastern Province are also likely to be affected by moderate to heavy rain and related weather impacts.
